While working for the pay TV industry as creative director, I realized that the most rewarding way of inspiring and motivating my team was through acknowledgement and support. Early in my career, I recognized that the people I was working with were extremely talented and resourceful, yet they did not always remember it. Sometimes, people were too afraid to share their ideas because of a fear of being ridiculed or rejected. In order to create the right creative atmosphere, I held a welcoming and inviting space where everyone's ideas were respected and celebrated. I would always tell them that there are no bad ideas, only un-told or un-shared ones. Through my inspiring and motivating techniques, award-winning promotional campaigns were produced and broadcasted around the globe. |
