Rev. Sonia Echezuría is a contemporary spiritual messenger and creative life coach whose words and actions continue to touch the lives of people around her in profound ways.

After growing up in an alcoholic household and dealing with its effects, she developed an eating disorder that severely impacted her health. At the age of 26, she became obese. According to her doctors, her lifespan was at least 10 years shorter than the average because of the way she had abused her body with food.

Although she struggled with her past and her eating disorder, Rev. Sonia spent the majority of her life thriving professionally. She has a bachelor's degree and masters in Audio Visual Arts and Communications and worked as creative director for leading pay TV brands for 15 years. Through her professional accomplishments, Rev. Sonia won 13 international awards, plus the recognition and appreciation of her colleagues, clients and supervisors. Her success was so concrete that she became a US Resident through self-petition as an individual with extraordinary abilities.

Sonia had a successful life: got married, became an award-winning TV professional, moved from Venezuela to the US, dictated specialized seminars and workshops in Spain and Colombia, and traveled around the globe. Nevertheless, she knew there was more to life than material wealth and success.

Without neglecting her professional life, Rev. Sonia took over the noblest of her endeavors: her spiritual journey. For almost a decade, she immersed herself in spiritual readings, practices, fellowships and communities. She made peace with her past, lost over 90 pounds and became a purer and brighter expression of herself. At the age of 32, she separated from her husband of 13 years to fully and lovingly embrace her newly discovered homosexual identity. Most importantly, she turned to and lives from her core values. In the year 2010, the Faculty of the All Faiths Seminary International in New York ordained her an Interfaith Minister.

Today Rev. Sonia dedicates her experience, time, talents, skills and loving heart to support others in getting in touch with their truest gifts, potential and meaning. Through her personal religion oriented ministry and life coaching style, she invites her clients to remember all that they are and to wear, touch, drive, walk and live their dreams now.
